Day 72
Topic: View from the moon
Topic given by johndennis86

Circular ball surrounded by darkness
Small sparks and rays if yellow
Lights up
Half of the green, blue and partial Brown

All you see is space
And this small fragment
That would look dead
If it weren’t for the sun
Uninhabitable for an untrained eye
Who only see the shadows
Dividing the globe

From the moon
Humans do not excist
We are too small in the big picture
Even though we act like we rule it
No one can see us
The moon would not shed a tear
Or thought

From the moon
We see a source of life
And nothing that resemble ourselves

A 365 Daily Challenge: Day 71

Day 71
Topic: concrete wall
Topic given by Christian Teisnes

Modern consumption
A century gave birth
To those who threw the first stone
In the beginning
we crushed the stones to dust
Small fragments
That seemed to be worthless

But every fragment
carried history within them
A history built by the forces of the good and evil

While some of us
tried to craft the beauty that lied in every grain, to form a connection
Others used only the bigger pictures
To connect and divide us by a wall
We saved a lot of grains from demolition
We kept some beauty that we still share
But the great concrete walls
Try to cast shadows over what we are

Split, divide and conquer
Carries every lost grain
The brushed surface holds no recognition of it
So we become more and more connected to the wall
Beauty and warmth
Serves more…

Yet again, anther grate piece of poetry.

When it is day, I do not recognize
this land. We live on
moonlit love and hard water
soaked in oak barrels.

When sunlight takes over
this land, I do not recognize
his hands that
lay me to rest with Strigiformes
and kiss my skin to death

his voice blurs my vision
when it is day, he is
not him
he is a reflection of a
fermented sea I drown in

every night,
when I swim away from this
foreign land I live on.

A 365 Daily Challenge: Day 66

Espen Stenersrød- From Pen To Heart

Day 66
Topic: Purpose
Topic given by Marquise

A fierce fireball
Generated power
From the fuses of his four chambers
Developed through coded language
A treasure hunt for the answers
Flooded his brain
Always finding lies within the truth
Threw him off course
But never blinded by them
The path he painted
From the first letters
Still there
Engraved into
The background of his veins
He knew the moment it spoke
That he had read it before
Again and again
Ever since the day he was born
It was a mere confirmation
Of him
He had to stay true to it
It was everything he had
His piece of the puzzle
Without it,
he would be a part of the living dead
A mass of nothingness
To himself
